Melrose Street from Roosevelt Street to Wellington Avenue will be closed for private sewer installation on Thursday, starting at 7:30 am and continuing until complete. Detours will be in place.
The 600 block of Howard Street between Craig and Pleasant streets will be closed 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday for water line work.
The 600 block of Bryant (between Center and Division) will be closed on Tueday, Oct. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to repairs on the water distribution system. No emergency vehicles will have access.
The City of Walla Walla's Water Division will be performing a service line repair in the 700 block of West Rose Street between North 9th Avenue and North 10th Avenue.
Portions of Chase Avenue will be closed on Oct. 24, 2013 for water line work.

Fern Avenue from Pleasant Street to Whitman Street will be closed Wednesday through Friday for road paving.
Traffic channels and brief delays are expected Wednesday from 6-10 p.m. on Ninth Avenue at Cherry Street as Columbia Rural Electric Association’s contractor installs utility infrastructure. In addition, Cherry Street will be closed from Ninth Avenue to Cayuse Street for through traffic for the duration of the utility work.
Traffic will be channeled and brief delays should be expected Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Second Avenue between Cherry Street and U.S. Highway 12.
The 200 block of West Poplar Street will be closed between Fourth and Fifth avenues on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for water service line repairs. Emergency vehicles will not be able to get through. Detours will divert traffic to West Alder and West Birch streets.
