Street closures

East Alder Street, from South Clinton to Howard Street will be closed on Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. so Water Division crews can make system repairs. No emergency vehicles will be able to get through.

WALLA WALLA — The city Water Division announced it will close East Alder Street at the following places and days this week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the need for city workers to make water system repairs:

Street closure: Chestnut Street

Please be advised that the Street Division needs to close W Chestnut Street from Chase Ave to 4th Avenue to perform an immediate sewer line repair. Emergency vehicles will not be able to get through. The street will be closed from now until around 5pm (unless the work requires a longer closure).

Road closure 3-17-13

Highland Road will be closed from Southview East to Southview West to relocate phone lines and build storm drain facilities beginning Monday and extending five weeks or until the work is completed.

TOUCHET — Irrigation installations will cause two road closures this week in the Gardena area.

Road Closure - Jacobs Road

Jacobs Road at Gardena and White roads will be closed Thursday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. while a contractor instals an irrigation service. A detour will be provided.

Road Closure - Riggs Road

Riggs Road at Maxfield and McKenzie roads will be closed Thursday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. while a contractor installs an irrigation service. A detour will be provided.
