Class 2B tracksters qualify for district
WALLA WALLA — The goal at Martin Field on a hot Tuesday afternoon was to finish in the top eight in District 9 sub-district track and field action and earn a spot at the district meet in Clarkston next Thursday.

Thompkins leads W-P tracksters to victory at Colfax meet
COLFAX — James Thompkins won the 100, 200 and 400 meters, and Seth Deal won the 1,600 and 3,200 meters, to lead Waitsburg-Prescott’s boys track and field team to a victory at the 11-team District 7-9 meet here Tuesday.

Baumgart paces 17 small-school field
