Knights among parents pushing WIAA for change

Parents from WWVA and other schools want the WIAA to restructure the state volleyball tournament.

Parents representing students at three high schools in the state are threatening to sue the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) over alleged religious discrimination if the organization does not restructure the state volleyball tournament in Yakima.

Area track and field athletes take to Martin Field

The Waitsburg-Prescott track team excelled at a District 9 1B/2B meet at Martin Field Wednesday afternoon. The W-P boys team won the meet with a score of 199, and W-P girls’ competitor Emily Adams had personal records in all of her four events, while winning three.
