As crews get ready to start a $2.39 million downtown Alder Street project, the City Council on Monday will review next year’s major construction proposal that will rebuild two-thirds of a mile of the deteriorating street as part of an Infrastructure Repair and Replacement Project.
J Street will be closed to through traffic between North Division and Wilson Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday for repair of a sewer line. Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass.
Third Avenue from Eagan Street to Walnut Street will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m from Monday to May 2 so a local contractor can replace a creek culvert. Emergency vehicles will be allowed. For more project updates and road closure information, visit gowallawalla.us.
