Prescott Library Cowboy Poetry Event

To celebrate National Cowboy Poetry Week, the Prescott Community Library is holding it's annual Cowboy Poetry Celebration.

April 23, 2013, 7pm
at the Lions Hall in Prescott
The event will feature:
A performance by Nevada Slim and Cimarron Sue
Open mic poetry readings
Announcement of the winners of the Cowboy Poetry contest
Refreshments provided by the Prescott Friends of the Library

It's all FREE and open to the public. Please stop by and listen to some great poetry and bring some of your own to share!

In the weeks leading up to the event, the community is welcome to submit entries for the Cowboy Poetry Contest. Bring your poems on the theme of cowboy or western life to the Prescott Library along with your name, address, phone number and email. If you are under 18, please include your age, grade in school and parent's name and contact info. You can email your entries to prescott@wwrurallibrary.com.
