Art @ Sapolil presents: "Places and Things" creations by Ty Eubanks

Ty Eubanks, a self-taught artist, was born and raised in Spokane, Washington but now calls Walla Walla home.

His gift of creativity was most certainly passed down from his mother. He spent his childhood watching her design and re-purpose items from pieces old of barn wood to beat up dressers into new creations of art.

Having experimented with every kind of paint brush, tool and kitchen utensil you could think of and with a preference for mixed media and modern contemporary style, Ty prefers working with acrylics and different mediums on larger stretched canvases which allows him more room to experiment with ideas and visions as they unfold. Ty comments, “Artwork and creation is something that has always been a personal and essential distraction from everyday life.”

Ty’s creations will be on display August thru the end of September. Come meet the artist with a reception on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m.
