From Motown to Nashville, Austin to SoCal, you will hear it all with The Wasteland Kings. Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Tom Petty, and Hank Williams can all be heard when you listen between the lines… But what you will never hear is this band trying to sound like anyone else. They have a straightforward, no gimmicks, rock-solid approach, showcased with strong lyrics, hard-sell vocals, and deft guitar work.

8:45 pm : Billy Roy Danger & The Rectifiers
Dirty Blues Rock  (Tacoma)
Rising out of the Widely popular band, Junkyard Jane, Billy Roy Danger & The Rectifiers is a four-piece Roots Rockin' combo, built to entertain and provoke deep thoughts and lot's o' dancin'.  It’s Red Hot and Twangy, downright Roots Rockin’ Mayhem!

Hailing from Louisville, KY, now based in Tacoma, WA, Billy Roy Danger & the Rectifiers’ four-piece band fully entertains... It’s just good, dirty, bluesy fun!  

10:30 pm : Kevin Selfe & The Tornadoes
Energetic Rockin’ Blues (Portland)
The Tornadoes’ mix of traditional and contemporary blues is known as one of the tightest and most energetic blues outfits around.  Although Kevin is best known for his guitar work, his other skills have started to garner attention.  Blues Matters (UK) says of Selfe on the CD, “Playing fine harmonica as well, it is his superb deep voice that resonates throughout”.

On drums is the Great Jimi Bott.  Widely considered one of the best blues drummers in the world, Jimi is a 12-time and current Blues Music Award nominee for Best Instrumentalist – Drums, and spent nearly three decades touring the world with The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rod Piazza, and Mark Hummel.

On Bass is Allen Markel.  Allen moved to Portland in 2007, was immediately noticed for his talent and nominated for the Cascade Blues Association’s Muddy Waters award for Bass in 2008, 2009 and 2010 for his work with Kevin Selfe.
