Course Description: The human capacity for self-awareness has been the motivation for man’s search for answers to deep and mysterious questions like: What is life? What is death? What happens to us after death? Are there limits to the world we see? What is beyond it? How did it and we come about? Is there a Higher Intelligence controlling life and lives? Are there moral principles by which we should live our lives? If we examine the mystical cores of the world’s major religions across time and space we find that they all converge at a similar point. Let’s explore some of these great spiritual traditions and their great spiritual masters to discover how humans universally have tried to answer these most burning questions. We’ll begin with an overview of Mysticism and the Mystics and then look in more depth at the mystical core beliefs as laid out to us by the Spiritual Masters/Texts of Sufism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity.

Join us for a fast-paced peek at several spiritual core beliefs through lecture, discussion and practices.
