A European-style guest house will hold an open house from 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday.
The Fischer House, 128 Eagan Ave., owned and operated by Lori and Dennis Fischer, offers lodging, winery tours and music lessons. Fittingly, the open house includes refreshments and music at the piano.
The Fischers bought the restored 1929 Colonial home a year ago next Wednesday, and started entertaining guests in the winter, Lori Fischer said by e-mail.
The couple, both University of Washington graduates and music teachers, moved to Walla Walla from Arlington, Wash., after a visit two years ago, she said.
As for music, Dennis Fischer teaches piano lessons -- all levels of classical, jazz and pop -- and Lori Fischer offers a beginners drum circle. Call Dennis at 509-876-2260 and Lori at 509-540-9518.
