WALLA WALLA -- U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., will host a town hall-style meeting on health care Thursday.

The meeting will be at 3 p.m. at the Walla Walla Community College Dietrich Dome.

On her Web site, McMorris Rodgers said she wants to update community members on health care reform and hear their concerns.

"I know Eastern Washington seniors are concerned about finding a doctor who will accept Medicare and keeping the doctor they've seen for years. Yet, the health-care reform proposal in Congress could adversely affect that," she said.

Prior to the town hall, McMorris Rodgers is scheduled to attend an economic development briefing hosted by the Port of Walla Walla.

That meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Walla Walla Regional Airport terminal building's main meeting room.
