Dan and Tanya Klassen announce the engagement of their daughter, Miranda Klassen, to Omar Benitez. Benitez is the son of Phyllis Garanzuay and Tony Wenham. All are of Walla Walla.
The bride-elect graduated from Walla Walla High School in 2008 and the groom-elect graduated from Wa-Hi in 2003. They are both self-employed.
A Dec. 11, 2009, wedding at Whitman Cellars is planned.
