Traffic Safety Task Force sponsors Project Red Ribbon

The Walla Walla County Traffic Safety Task Force is sponsoring Project Red Ribbon once again during the holiday season.

Red ribbons, tied to a car antenna, door handle or mirror have long been a symbol of the driver's commitment to be a safe and sober driver. For the past six years, the task force, with the help of local distributors have provided red ribbons to drivers throughout the community.

This year, ribbons may be picked up by calling the task force office at 524-2936 or at: Tallman Drug, Children's Home Society, Lloyd's Insurance, Abajian's, McDonald Zaring Insurance, State Farm (East Isaacs Avenue location), Reininger Winery, ABC Christian Bookstore, AAA Of Washington, Banker's Life, Community Bank, St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Les Schwab.
