2010 Budget: Continue public hearing on adoption of 2010 budget. Action on item may follow.
levies: Continue public hearings on 2010 property tax levies for current expense fund, road fund and emergency medical services. Action on items may follow.
fairgrounds: Execute agreement between county and state Department of Agriculture for $40,000 grant for electrical upgrade on county fairgrounds.
human services: Consider revised commercial and investment real estate purchase and sales agreement for Elks Building.
finance committee: Board to meet as county Finance Committee to consider adoption of revised county investment policy, approval of new broker and hear annual report by county investment consultant.
TUESDAY
Workshop: Reports and miscellaneous business. No formal action to be taken.
ATHENA-WESTON SCHOOL BOARD
When: Monday, 7 p.m.
Where: Weston Middle School, 205 E. Wallace.
AUDIT: Hear report on 2008-09 financial audit from Chris Cockburn.
PROJECT: Hear update on district’s Buildings Priority Maintenance List. The board worked on the list during its November work session.
HIRES: Consider a hire for Weston Middle School track coach and voluntary high school boys basketball coaches.
POLICIES: Hear first reading of board policies on staff health and safety; infection control; communicable disease; and Hepatitis B, blood-borne pathogens infection control.
MIDDLE: Consider request for seventh- and eighth-grade field trip by Weston Middle School science teacher Terrie Dennis.
OSBA: Consider resolution showing support for Oregon School Boards Association board of directors positions.
COLUMBIA SCHOOL BOARD
When: Monday, 7 p.m.
Where: Administration board room, 755 Maple St.
CONSENT: Consider any new hires or resignations and payment of bills and payroll.
REPORTS: Hear enrollment and financial status and review policy on graduation requirements.
WALLULA: Consider selling Wallula property and approving a property assessment.
POLICIES: Hear first reading of emergency-leave and jury-duty policies.
