Activities offered daily at The Center at the Park, 720 Sprague Ave., include pool and cards from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. A complete listing of current center activities, classes and health and welfare programs is in the center’s monthly newsletter. The $12 annual center membership fee, includes a subscription to it. Spanish is spoken at the Center. Day care is provided at the Adult Day Center 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Senior Round Table luncheons are served weekdays at noon at The Center, 527-3775. Bread and milk are served with all meals and a salad bar is available Monday-Friday. The menu this week is:

Monday: Creamed chicken over biscuits, succotash, tomato slices, biscuits, peaches and cookie.

Tuesday: Roast beef with gravy, broccoli, oven brown potatoes, roll, pear raisin cobbler.

Wednesday: Salisbury steak with brown gravy, peas, mashed potatoes, roll, fruited Jell-O.

Thursday: Beef Stroganoff over noodles, winter mix vegetables, green salad, bread, peaches.

Friday: Sweet and sour pork over rice, broccoli, green salad, fruit juice, muffin, cookie.

Lunch is served at Waitsburg Presbyterian Church, 504 Main St., Waitsburg on Tuesdays. Home-delivered meals are available. Questions: call 527-3775

Milton-Freewater and Weston seniors can enjoy hot lunches and socialize at the senior centers in Milton-Freewater and Weston. Activities are offered 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays at the Milton-Freewater Senior Citizens Center, 311 N. Main St. Hot lunches are served at noon on Tuesdays and Fridays. Bingo is 1 p.m. every Tuesday and pinochle is 7 p.m. every Friday. The Weston Senior Citizens Center on Main Street is open for social time and a hot lunch is served at noon on Wednesdays.

The suggested donation is $3.50 for meals for those 60 and older or children under 8; and $6 for those 59 and younger. Bread and milk are served with all meals. The menu for Milton-Freewater is:

Tuesday: Baked ham, sweet potatoes, tossed salad with green beans, fruit salad, blueberry muffin, pudding.

Friday: Turkey strata, stewed tomatoes, tossed salad with carrots, hot roll, applesauce with spice cake.

The menu for Weston is:

Wednesday: Baked ham with pineapple sauce, sweet potatoes, Waldorf salad, broccoli, hot rolls, Jell-O cake with ice cream.

Seniors of the Blue Mountains and Walla Walla Valley offer a meal at noon Thursdays in the Milton-Freewater Community Building, 109 N.E. Fifth Ave. Hot rolls and milk are served with every meal. The suggested donation is $3. The menu this week is:

Thursday: Baked chicken, potatoes and gravy, hot vegetables, hot rolls, dessert.
