HERMISTON -- Police in Hermiston say a 60-year-old man died when a pickup truck struck him as he crossed a street in his motorized wheel chair.
Police said Alfred Davis was in a marked crosswalk when he was struck about 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Hermiston police, Oregon State Police and the Umatilla County district attorney's office are investigating. KNDU reports the pickup was driven by 60-year-old James O'Brien of Pendleton.
