Santa Claus is coming to Ace Hardware.
The man in red will make appearances at both Ace stores in Walla Walla and Milton-Freewater on Saturday, said Linda Henry, who co-owns the businesses with her husband, Doug. Santa will appear 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Eastgate store in Walla Walla, 460 N. Wilbur Ave. He'll then move to the Milton-Freewater store, 11 N. Columbia St., from 2-5 p.m. Parents should bring a camera to take their own pictures.

The Isaacs Avenue restaurant burned in a Dec. 5 fire. A temporary location for the restaurant is in the works at the Walla Walla Elks Lodge. Meanwhile, Sterling employees will collect nonperishable foods and gifts for children 1 to 17 Friday to help the employees through Christmas. The branch at 2 E. Main St. will operate 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
