WESTON -- A head-on collision along Highway 204 on Wednesday injured two people.
The crash was reported about 8:30 a.m. at mile 11.5 of the highway on an icy stretch. One vehicle lost control on the slick road and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle, said Umatilla County Sheriff's Sgt. John Shafer.
Because of the harsh road conditions, both vehicles had been traveling relatively slow, Shafer said.
One driver suffered a minor cut, while the other required medical attention for a possible broken ankle and blunt-force trauma to the chest, Shafer said.
The driver's names were not available.
