TOUCHET — The host Indians fell behind 18-4 after one quarter and never recovered here Saturday night in a 62-28 loss to Rosalia in Class 1B boys basketball action.

Touchet fell to 0-2 in league and 5-3 overall.

Matt Kates was the only Indian player in double figures with 10 points.

"They dominated," Touchet coach Tim McKeown said. "They had a big lineup (6-foot-5, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 and 6-0) and played it well. We’d double down and they’d squeeze through and make the bucket.

"Our intensity level wasn’t there," McKeown said.
