Christmas Eve services planned around area

Here is a roundup of several Christmas Eve services planned around the area:

Walla Walla

  • The congregations of Central Christian Church, 66 S. Palouse St., Covenant Presbyterian Church and New Hope Christian Church will hold a three-church Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. today at Central Christian. There will be singing and Scripture readings. For more information, call 509-525-1950.
  • New Beginnings Chapel, 822 W. Main St., will hold a Christmas Eve candle-lighting service from 6-7 p.m. today. The service will include carol-singing, and special music with the Rev. Tim Bruner and his wife, Keiloni. For more informaton, call: 509-527-3385.
  • St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 323 Catherine St., will have a family Christmas Eve Eucharist at 5:30 p.m., today; followed by vocal and handbell choirs at 10:30 p.m.; and Holy Eucharist at 11 p.m. On Christmas Day, there will be Holy Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
  • Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 628 Lincoln St., will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. today and a Christmas Day worship service at 10 a.m. Friday. For more information, call 509-525-6872.


Milton-Freewater

  • First Christian Church, 518 S. Main St., will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight worship service at 6 p.m. tonight.
