Longtime Walla Walla resident Dorothy Lee "Dottie" Harding, 74, died Dec. 22, 2009, in Post Falls, Idaho, due to an extended illness.

The memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1234 Clinton Ave., Walla Walla.

Mrs. Harding was born Oct. 15, 1935, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Anthony and Bernadina Zahn, She was the sixth child of 10. When she was 13, the family moved to Wenatchee, where she lived until 1975 when she married John Leslie Harding. The couple lived in Walla Walla. Mr. Harding died in November 2009.

She belonged to the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Walla Walla since 1975.

Mrs. Harding is survived by four sons, Arthur Shane Day of Kalispell, Mont., Ronald Blake Howard and Jeffery Dean Howard, both of Walla Walla, and Joseph Troy Harding of Milton Freewater; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Orchard of Pocatello, Idaho, and Rosie S. Lowe of Zillah, Wash.; a brother, Anthony Zahn of Henderson, Nev.; and grandchildren.
