PENDLETON — Dallas Reich led Weston-McEwin with a game-high 21 points and 13 rebounds, but the TigerScots stumbled to Imbler 56-50 at the Oregon Trail Classic boys basketball tournament here Monday in the Pendleton Convention Center.

The loss drops the TigerScots to a 4-5 record on the season.

W-M led 10-9 after the first period but fell behind 31-28 at halftime. Imbler then outscored W-M 25-23 in the second half for the winning margin.

"You could tell that we hadn’t played in two weeks," W-M coach Brian Picard said. "That’s the worst thing about the Christmas break. It’s a long layoff, and it’s difficult to get everybody together to practice.

"We played flat-footed, and we just looked slow,’’ Pickard said. "That’s probably the worst game we’ve played this year. I just hope we can rebound and play better today," he added.

The TigerScots face the Pendleton junior varsity at 2:30 p.m. today in the Convention Center.
