TigerScot boys roll to early lead, rout Pendleton JV at Oregon Trail Classic

PENDLETON — Weston-McEwen rolled up a 21-4 lead in the first quarter and never trailed on the way to a 67-27 boys basketball victory over the Pendleton JV at the Oregon Trail Classic here Tuesday.

Dallas Reich led the TigerScots with 12 points and Owen Hegdal and Kyle Watts added 10 points each.

Miles Thul and Owen Hegdal had seven rebounds each for the TigerScots.

"We came out ready to play, which was the big thing after the way we played the day before," W-M coach Brian Pickard said. "And after the first quarter there wasn’t much else to say."

The TigerScots return to action at DeSales with a 7:30 p.m. start on Tuesday.
