ATHENA -- The Athena City Newsletter for November is chocked full of events, messages and a bit of advice, including some from the police department.
Parents are asked to remind their children to follow the rules when riding their bicycles. Wear a helmet, use hand signals, look right and left before crossing streets, and no riding bicycles, skate boards or scooters on Main Street sidewalks.
The piece ends with this admonition: "Obey the Law ... Adults Too!"
