PENDLETON -- The Oregon East Symphony hosts the world premiere of "Cycling Music" by Spokane composer William Berry at 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the Vert Auditorium, 400 S.W. Dorian Ave.
The conductor is John LoPiccolo, a finalist in the OES search for a new conductor, and the featured soloist is James Smock on trumpet. Dvorak's "Symphony No. 8" and Grieg's "Symphonic Dances" are also on the program.
