Majority doesn't establish morality

In last Sunday's Our Readers' Opinion section, Mr. Whittle let me know he is having a problem with drawing the line on moral behavior. In fatherly love, I must respond by reminding readers that rebellion to God's law, regrettably, will one day find the line has been eternally drawn.

As in my original question, who are you or I to decide what the law is to be, the tenor of the current culture seems to be "do whatever feels good." Even if those were to be in the majority, nothing could be further from the truth than to think that a majority consensus establishes morality.

Let me quote from one who spoke wisdom, many centuries ago: "Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man."
