Port of Walla Walla commissioners to head to Seattle gathering

Port of Walla Walla commissioners will attend the annual meeting of the Washington Public Ports Association in Seattle this week, and will meet with the agency's land-use attorneys during the trip.

Commissioners will be in Seattle Wednesday through Friday. While there, they will meet Wednesday with GordonDerr, the firms that has been assisting the Port in the development of covenants, conditions and restrictions for the proposed Burbank Business Park. The firm has also been helping the Port develop a model utility agreement.

Wednesday's meeting will run 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the GordonDerr offices, 2025 First Ave., Seattle. The meeting will be an update on projects in Burbank. It will be broadcast via speaker phone at the Port's Walla Walla office, 310 A St., for those who want to attend and participate.
