Interfaith potluck set at Tri-Cities Islamic Center

WEST RICHLAND -- There will be an Interfaith Potluck at the Tri-Cities Islamic Center, 2900 Bombing Range Road, on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.

Individuals from any congregation in Walla Walla are invited for an evening of food and fellowship.

The Islamic Center has 700 members from 35 nations. Members of the several religious groups from the Tri-Cities will attend, including Beth Shalom Synagogue, Guru Nanak Sikh Organization, Shalom United Church of Christ, and Community Unitarian Universalist Church.

There will be a panel presentation on gratitude and the table blessings from our various traditions.

Bring your favorite dish, with the recipe, to share. No pork, shellfish, or alcohol. Child care will be provided. If you're interested in attending, e-mail Pat Henry at henrypg@whitman.edu.
