WALLA WALLA — Police want local merchants to be wary of fraudulent phone solicitors who are currently claiming to sell advertising space on a Walla Walla High School poster.
The solicitor claims to represent Wa-Hi in an attempt to obtain credit and banking account information. Police recommend that merchants verify phone solicitations with the benefiting agency before providing any information.
