WALLA WALLA -- A Dayton woman was treated at Providence St. Mary Medical Center after a collision at Green Lane and Clinton Street on Friday, according to a police report.

Marci-Jo Lanning, 21, of Jackson Road in Dayton, was treated for injuries to her face and head after the collision, which occurred about 2:34 p.m.

Lanning was apparently driving the wrong way down Green Lane, a one-way street, when she entered Clinton Street without yielding the right of way to Jennifer N. Rindal, 43, of Walla Walla, according to a city police report.

Rindal's vehicle struck Lanning's, with Rindal telling police Lanning entered the intersection suddenly, not giving her enough time to brake. Rindal was not injured.

Police cited Lanning for going the wrong way down a one-way street and failing to yield the right of way, according to the report.
