WALA WALLA - The city is in the midst of fall leaf pickup and is now on Monday's garbage routes. As a general rule:
Place loose leaves in the street along the curb near the gutter. Don't block stormwater grates.
Separate loose leaves and brush. The city no longer collects brush.
Park vehicles at least 10 feet away from piles.
Do not rake the leaves out in the driving lanes.
