POMEROY — Too many unforced Pomeroy errors contributed to a three-game Southeast B North Division volleyball loss to Tekoa-Oakesdale here Tuesday.
The Nighthawks won 25-19, 25-18 and 25-15.
Haylee Koller had seven digs for the Pirates.
"We had 48-for-48 serving, and that’s one positive for us," Pomeroy coach Bruce Crossfield said. "It’s just too bad we didn’t have more serves.
"We just had lots of unforced errors," he said. "We were looking forward to playing them a good match. They’re a good team, and we made them better. We did not answer the challenge."
Pomeroy returns to action with a 7 p.m. match at Garfield-Palouse on Thursday.
