YAKIMA — After a close first game, Walla Walla dropped another pair in a three-game Big Nine Conference volleyball defeat by West Valley here on Tuesday.
The Rams won 26-24, 25-16 and 25-17 to improve their record to 7-1.
The Blue Devils are now 5-4, and they play Pasco on Thursday at the Wa-Hi gym.
Wa-Hi Tuesday leaders included Jamie Weisner with seven kills, Courtney Zaro with six kills, Jill McDaniels with 14 assists and Tianna Cummings with 19 digs.
Thursday’s 7 p.m. match with Pasco will be a breast-cancer awareness night, and Blue Devil coach Audra Cummins asks Wa-Hi fans to come out and support the event.
