TOUCHET — Touchet served at 91 percent and passed at 96 percent as a team against Walla Walla Valley Academy, but the Knights won the five-game Southeast B Southern Division volleyball match here Tuesday.
The Knights won 25-19, 17-25, 4-25, 25-21 and 15-12.
Touchet is now 2-3 in the division and 2-5 overall. WWVA is now 3-4 in the division.
Carley Frazier led the Indians with 17 assists and two kills. Zoe Weaver had eight kills, and Reana Butler had three blocks and two kills.
"I’m proud of the girls," Touchet coach Stephanie Paulson said. "They never gave up, and they fought through some tough rallies."
Tori Buell led WWVA with seven kills. Kristi Buell passed out eight assists and served 22-of-23. Sandy Avalos chipped up 23 digs.
"We had a lot of swings back and forth," WWVA coach Scott Schafer said. "We had a melt down in the third game, but the girls got themselves together a finished strong."
Touchet returns to non-division play with a 7 p.m. match at Helix on Thursday.
WWVA plays a 7 p.m. match at home against Waitsburg-Prescott on Thursday.
