HELIX — Helix netted a three-game non-conference volleyball victory over Touchet here on Thursday.
The Grizzlies won 25-17, 25-23 and 25-12 to improve their record to 17-6 on the season.
Chyanne Hack belted 10 kills for the Grizzlies; Britney Smith had eight kills, and Addie Terjeson had seven kills.
Megan Schroeder served 20-for-20 at the line, with three aces.
Kylee Rogers passed out 31 assists.
"The kids came out and played better," Helix coach Tammie Parker said. "They were more focused, and they controlled the ball well at the net.
Touchet’s leaders included Carley Frazier with 11 assists; Zoe Weaver with six kills; Reana Butler with two kills and one block; and Kristen Warner with one block.
"The kids played really well," Touchet coach Stephane Paulson said. "We just couldn’t get it to go our way."
The Grizzlies return to action with a 2 p.m. home match against Condon-Wheeler on Saturday.
Touchet plays again with a 7 p.m. match at St. John on Tuesday.
