"That was our last league meet of the season before heading into districts next Thursday in Wenatchee," Wa-Hi coach Mike Locati said. "Seven teams competed at Hansen Park in Kennewick on the 3.0 mile course.
"The course wasn’t particularly fast because of the resent rain, but the runners still managed to run some decently fast times," he said. "It was a good meet to have going into districts. Lots of kids came away with, or close to, their personal bests.
"However, even with good times, we came up against some of the best teams in the state," Locati said.
Wa-Hi’s season record for the boys is now 9-5 and for the girls it is 4-10.
