WALLA WALLA — A trio of forwards and one midfielder tallied two goal apiece Saturday morning to lead top-ranked Walla Walla Community College to a 10-0 victory over winless Yakima Valley in an NWAACC Eastern Region women’s soccer match at Warrior Field.

Tahlia O’Loughlin, Katie Lucas, Margo Hickman and Amanda Brusic were the Warriors’ multiple goal scorers in the rout, which raised WWCC’s league mark to 11-0 and its overall record to 14-1.

Yakima Valley fell to 0-6 and 0-10-1.

O’Loughlin got the goal fest started just two minutes after the opening whistle and added another tally at the 25-minute mark.

Brusic was the next athlete to ripple the net. She did so in the 26th and 31st minutes.

Justine Jones increased the Warrior lead to 5-0 with a goal at 34 minutes, and Lucas contributed scores at 35 and 39 minutes that raised the Warriors’ advantage to 7-0 by halftime.

Walla Walla ended its scoring with three unassisted markers in the second half. Hickman added to Walla Walla’s total in minutes 52 and 60, and Amanda Keebler ended the offensive onslaught later in the period.

The Warriors outshot YVC, 24-1.

"Our starters came out and had a good day in front of the net," WWCC coach Chad Bodnar said. "We got everybody in. We had kids who have not played a whole lot that played 60 minutes."

The Warriors play at Columbia Basin Wednesday before hosting Spokane next Saturday.
