WAITSBURG — Walla Walla Valley Academy ended its prep volleyball season with a three-game win over Waitsburg-Prescott here on Thursday.
The Knights won 25-19, 25-11 and 25-20 to finish the season with a 4-8 Southeast B South record.
The WWVA leaders on Thursday included Sandy Avalos with 25 digs, Kristi Buell with seven assists and Sonrisa Wagner with 13-for-14 serves and seven aces.
Tori Buell and Bri Leen led the Knights with six kills apiece.
"The match went really well," WWVA coach Scott Schafer said. "It was a great way to end the season. The girls had control of all of the games. I’m proud of them."
Waitsburg-Prescott, now 3-7 in the South, plays Tekoa-Oakesdale in a Class 2B district match at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at Dayton.
