HELIX — Helix rolled to a three-game, non-conference prep volleyball victory over Arlington at the Griswold High gym here on Thursday.?The Grizzlies defeated the Honkers 25-8, 25-11 and 25-11.
Helix stat leaders included Kylee Rogers with 15 assists, 20-for-24 at the service line with six aces; Britney Smith with six kills, 17-for-17 serves with four aces; Cheyanne Hack with five kills; and Addie Terjeson with five kills.
"The kids did a great job. They passed much better than they did on Tuesday," Helix coach Tammie Parker said. "We still have some things to work on, but overall I’m pleased with our performance."
The Grizzlies return to action at the Hepner Tournament with a 10 a.m. match on Saturday against Corbett.
The tourney starts at 9 a.m.
