  • Chase W. Barsness, 16, 207 Union St., was sentenced March 26 on one count violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of paraphernalia. The sentence included 12 months community supervision with conditions, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On March 12, Barsness pleaded guilty to unlawfully possession drug paraphernalia on Jan. 5.
  • Wendy L. Gonzalez, 14, 329 S. Third Ave, No. 2, was sentenced March 26 on one count contempt (at-risk youth). The sentence included 30 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 21 days served, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On March 12, Gonzalez pleaded guilty to disobeying a lawful court order.
  • Joseph L. Vaile, 17, 357 Humorist Road, Burbank was sentenced March 26 on one count interfering with reporting of domestic violence. One other count was dismissed. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On March 12, Vaile pleaded guilty to preventing a victim of a domestic violence crime from calling 911.
  • Dennis W. Sullivan, 15, 1228 Tillamook St., was sentenced March 26 on one count third-degree theft. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On March 12, Sullivan pleaded guilty to taking an iPod valued at $299.99 from another with intent to deprive the owner of the property on Dec. 9.
