Resurrection sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at Pioneer Park today

WALLA WALLA - A Community Resurrection Sunday Sunrise worship service will be at 6:30 a.m. today in front of the gazebo at Pioneer Park.

The Rev. Tim and Keiloni Bruner and the New Beginnings Chapel worship team will lead worship; the Village Players will perform two plays and the Rev. Paul Adams of the Lighthouse Church will bring the message.

The service is sponsored by the Walla Walla Ministerial Fellowship.

Wisdom for Women at Sonbridge on Wednesday

COLLEGE PLACE - Sherrice Croft and Julie Sanders Keymer will facilitate a 12-week DVD presentation, "Wising Up," by Beth Moore, Christian speaker and author. The study looks at different topics in the book of Proverbs. First Congregational to hold rummage sale this week

WALLA WALLA - First Congregational Church, 73 S. Palouse St., will hold its semi-annual rummage sale from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m.-noon Friday. Most proceeds will go to local, regional, national and international missions. Recently, $1,000 from the fall rummage sale went to the Haiti Relief Fund.

Christian Women's Connection luncheon is slated April 14

PATAHA - Christian Women's Connection will have its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. April 14 at the Pataha Flour Mill, near Pomeroy. The meal will be catered by Jon and Louise VanVogt, who will also provide the music. Donna Helsius will discuss flowers and Dixi Ison of Canby, Ore., will speak.

Stateline Adventist Church to serve waffles, pancakes
