  • Michael E. Purvis, 52, address not confirmed, was charged March 26 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Purvis is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and using drug paraphernalia on March 25.

  • Darwin W. Curfman Jr., 51, address not confirmed, was charged March 26 with three counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Curfman is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine, unlawfully possessing less than 40 grams of marijuana, and using drug paraphernalia on March 25.

  • Samuel C. Canham, 25, 290 Double River Road, was charged March 29 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Canham is accused of unlawfully possessing marijuana with the intent to deliver it, and using drug paraphernalia on March 26.

  • Travis A. Shandy, 23, 156 Cherry St., Burbank, was charged March 29 with second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Shandy is accused of unlawfully entering or remaining in a building with the intent to commit a crime, and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over a chain saw and skill saw on March 24.

  • Jeremy W. Reavis, 30, 2815 E. Melrose St., Space 271, was charged March 29 with residential burglary and fourth-degree assault. Reavis is accused of unlawfully entering or remaining in a dwelling with the intent to commit a crime, and assaulting a person on March 28.

  • Donald S. Stewart, 46, no permanent address listed, was charged March 29 with residential burglary and fourth-degree assault. Stewart is accused of unlawfully entering or remaining in a dwelling with the intent to commit a crime, and assaulting a person on March 28.

  • James L. Johnson, 55, Pendleton, was sentenced March 31 on one count third-degree theft. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $25 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, 30 days in the county jail, credit for one day served, 29 days suspended, 12 months community custody. On March 15, Johnson pleaded guilty to wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property of another not exceeding $750 in value with intent to deprive the owner, on Oct. 17.

  • Debbie S. Paine, 52, Hermiston, was sentenced April 5 on one count complicity to unlawful acquisition of ephedrine/pseudoephedrine. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $178.90 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, 34 days in the county jail, credit for 34 days served. On April 5, Pain pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting another to, within a 24-hour period, unlawfully purchase or acquire greater than three grams of a product containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine or phenylpropanolamine, on or about May 12.

  • Raymon Gilbert Lepp, 52, 1543 Hobson St., was sentenced April 5 on one count violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $46.80 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $3,000 meth lab cleanup fine, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 each crime lab and biological fee, 30 days in the county jail, 30 days converted to Department of Corrections work crew, 12 months community custody. On March 16, Lepp agreed that the court may review the police reports and/or a statement of probable cause supplied by the prosecutor to establish a factual basis for his plea.
