Marjorie H. Mansfield went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 30, at the age of 93. She was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Eugene, Ore. and moved to Walla Walla in 1955.
Marjorie enjoyed traveling with her husband especially to New Zealand where they played golf and fished. Marjorie and her husband were members of the Walla Walla Country Club until her move to Southern California. While in Walla Walla, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and directed the gift shop at St. Mary's Hospital for many years.
Her husband Dr. Oliver Mansfield, a daughter Valerie King and a son Alan Mansfield preceded her in death, as did her first husband James Davis.
She is survived by her daughters Camille Carlson of Big Lake, Alaska; Margo Quinn of Mission Viejo, Calif.; Cheryl Melville of Aberdeen, WA. and Stephanie Hamlin of Walla Walla. She is also survived by two sons, Robert Mansfield of Spokane; Jon Mansfield of Cucamonga, Calif., 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Services are being held in Mission Viejo, Calif. on April 16th.
