Walla Walla County Commissioners are Greg Tompkins, Perry Dozier and Gregg Loney. With Tompkins absent, commissioners Monday voted as follows:
- cancellation: Canceled commissioners' April 19 meeting due to scheduling conflicts. Meeting to be held April 20 in place of regular workshop. Unanimous.
- hearing: Scheduled public hearing for 1:30 p.m. May 3 to take comments on proposed amendments to county code concerning home occupations. Unanimous.
- advertising: Approved contract with The Times of Waitsburg to be designated newspaper for printing of county legal advertising and public notices. Unanimous.
- personnel: Approved revision to county personnel policies and operations manual. Unanimous.
- chip seal: Approved request from Fire District 5 for Public Works Department to chip seal training area at Burbank fire station. District to reimburse county for cost of work. Unanimous.
