Walla Walla Xplosion 4-2 at Ice Breaker Softball Tournament

WALLA WALLA - The Walla Walla Xplosion 10-and-under girls softball team finished with a record of 4-2 in the NSA Ice Breaker Softball Tournament held in the Tri-Cities over the weekend. The tournament featured 15 teams from Oregon and Washington.

The Xplosion beat the Snohomish Shock, 13-7, on Friday night. On Saturday, they lost, 12-1, to Acers 99 and beat the Tri-City Thunder, 10-5. The Xplosion finished up the tournament on Sunday by losing to Seattle Havoc, 9-4, beating Snohomish Swat, 7-4, and beating Tigard Blast, 6-5.

The Xplosion is a select team from the Blue Mountain Girls Softball Association. Players include Selina Atkinson, Kaylee Brown, Kamryn Coleman, Jacqueline Conklin, Ashley Halazon, Lauren Hoe, Faith Hoe, Abigail Lapier, Teisha Payne. Madalyne Thomas and Bow Maiden. The team is coached by Andy Coleman, Kevin Halazon, Corey Davis, Tim Payne and Kaela Hoe.
