Fort Walla Walla Museum's annual banquet and volunteer awards will take place Tuesday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event is open to the public. Each year the museum honors the most outstanding among more than 400 volunteers. This year the dinner will be hosted in the Grand Hall of the new entry hall and exhibit galleries. Food will be provided by Walla Walla Catering. Guest speaker will be University of Idaho professor of archaeology Lee Sappington,, who will be discussing his work associated with U.S. military Fort Walla Walla excavations.
