Two support groups offered by mental-illness alliance


Walla Walla's chapter of National Alliance on Mentally Illness, or NAMI, offers two support groups on a regular basis.

NAMI Connection is a education and wellness group for these suffering from any mental illness, meeting on Thursdays at St. Paul Episcopal Church on the corner of Catherine and Birch streets. Meetings frequently include special speakers.

NAMI family support group offers support for family members of those who live with mental illness. The groups meets every fourth Thursday of every month at St. Paul's Episcopal church in the library room.

Both groups offer full confidentiality, according the NAMI's press release. For more information call Lisbeth Fry at 529-7974.
