Tour of Walla Walla



A Category 3 Men's cyclist shares 5 Mile Road with four-wheeled traffic during Saturday morning's Time Trial in the Tour of Walla Walla.


With neon yellow, heart-shaped glasses and a Tigger, too, costumed Whitman student Amy Chapman roars for fellow Whitman student Gabriella Sterne as she zips past (reflected in glasses) during Saturday afternoon's running of the Criterium Category 4 Women race.

About 600 cyclists raced in the 14th annual Tour of Walla Walla on Friday and Saturday. It was a beautiful day for biking (above) when the Criterium Category 4 Women's group raced past the old Liberty Theater Saturday afternoon in the downtown heat.

A Category 3 Men's cyclist (below) shares the road with four-wheel traffic during Saturday morning's time trial down an incline on 5 Mile Road.
