Wa-Hi FFA hosts Farm Day on Saturday

WALLA WALLA -- Baby animals and fun activities will be on tap Saturday as the Walla Walla FFA hosts its annual Farm Day at Walla Walla High School.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the FFA barn on the school campus.

Organized by the FFA and the Wa-Hi veterinary technician classes, Farm Day will allow children to learn about agriculture and get close to animals such as minature horses and goats, lambs, pigs, calves and bunnies.

Along with the Saturday open house, first grade students from local schools will be visiting the barn and its animals Thursday and Friday, said Lindsey Butcher, agriculture education teacher.
