LETTERS TO THE EDITOR - Keep wind turbines out of the Blues

Wake up people gazing at those beautiful Blue Mountains. While you doze, plans continue to place wind turbines east of Highway 11.

You have certainly been informed about the upset in balance of natural resources involved, birds, wildlife, fish, through soil erosion. Guess what, the power goes to California. Your taxes, federal and state, pay the tab with huge amounts going to foreign corporations.

Have you noticed yet the hundreds of red lights blinking to the west? Do you really think they need to clutter up one of our major attractions, the Blue Mountains?

The politicians are starting to listen. Enough is enough. Keep the wind turbines out of our Blues.
