First Christian Church to offer American heritage presentation

DAYTON - First Christian Church, 410 S. Third St., will give the presentation "Christian Faith: an American Heritage," by David Barton at 7:30 tonight on the back lawn of the church. Barton has been criticized for his claims that America was founded as a Christian nation. Questions such as "should being a Christian make a difference in how you think through such issues as abortion and capital punishment will be discussed. Rep. Terry Nealey will also present some of his thoughts as part of the evening. Dessert and discussion will follow. There is no charge.

St. Patrick Catholic Parish welcomes others home

Christian Women's Connection Luncheon is slated Aug. 11
