A couple of new faces have joined the team at the Walla Walla branch of Bank of Whitman.
Kyle Conklin has been promoted to branch manager/loan officer for the bank at 500 W. Main St. Conklin comes from the Othello branch, where he worked the last two years. A 2007 graduate of the University of Idaho, he grew up in the Lewiston/Clarkston Valley.
He joins the branch's new vice president of lending/commercial loan officer Matt White. A Walla Walla University graduate, White previously operated a business before taking a loan officer position for the bank four years ago. He was promoted to vice president of lending as part of the staffing changes.
The two are part of the bank's seasoned team, which also includes Carolyn Keyes, the branch's operations supervisor.
Castillo de Feliciana Winery is planning an evening fiesta next month.
Wine, Brazilian barbecue and salsa dancing under the stars will be the ingredients for a memorable evening at the Milton-Freewater winery whose white building and terra cotta roof were inspired by the buildings in Andalucia in the Southern region of Spain.
The event runs 6-10 p.m. Sept. 10 at 85728 Telephone Pole Road. Space is limited, so RSVPs are requested by Sept. 3. The cost is $55 per person and limited to adults 21 and over. For more information, call 509-220-2514 or 541-558-3656.
